Just as Gu Yuanqing broke free from the God Ruins.

Mu Tianheng seemed to sense something. He abruptly turned his head, undisguised astonishment appearing on his face.

"Sect Master, what is it?" Lei Fuyue asked.

"Gu Yuanqing's avatar has left this place," Mu Tianheng said.

"What?" Lei Fuyue was stunned.

Mu Tianheng withdrew his gaze. "Forget it. Once this matter is settled, we'll deal with that man."

The Devil Master had originally wanted to race against time and launch a surprise assault before reaching the Boundary Gate, but the Ancient Realm phantom moved faster than he had expected. He could see that, within the region shrouded by the phantom, everything had frozen still—even the giant red eye in the sky had been affected.

Seeing that the situation could not be salvaged, the Devil Master steered the Forbidden Ground downward, intending to flee.
