On one of its sword peaks, the sect master, Ling Yi, stood at the cliff's edge, gazing into the distance.
Suddenly, a figure hurried over.
"How is he?" Ling Yi asked, glancing back.
"Fortunately, he was brought here in time. Junior Brother Zhou has already straightened out his acupoints, stabilized his divine soul, and given him a Soul-Protecting Pill." Nangong Xun hesitated before continuing, "But he was gravely wounded to begin with. His foundations suffered immense damage, and his divine soul origin was nearly exhausted. "Has word been sent back?" Ling Yi asked.
Nangong Xun nodded. "Junior Brother Di has already sent word to the Jade Capital through the Teleportation Array. The Second Prince should be on his way as well."
Ling Yi asked, "Did Mo Yan truly say that Gu Yuanqing was colluding with Heavenly Demons?"
"Junior Brother Di heard it himself," Nangong Xun replied. "They fell into an ambush as soon as they reached the foot of Silver Deer Valley. If Commander Yan hadn't risked his life to break through the restrictive seal, Mo Yan would never have had a chance to escape. Everyone except him died."
Ling Yi nodded slightly, then asked, "You spent nearly ten days with Gu Yuanqing. Do you think he truly has ties to the Heavenly Demons?"
Nangong Xun hesitated, then said with a bitter smile, "I noticed nothing suspicious, but if he deliberately concealed it, who could have seen through him? He is from the Otherworld, after all. Besides, Mo Yan saw it with his own eyes."
"What one sees is not necessarily the truth," Ling Yi said softly.
"But Commander Yan and the others did fall into an ambush," Nangong Xun said. "Mo Yan's
