• Gu Yuanqing refused to meet Xuan Haoji in the Jade Capital, then agreed to draw the Heavenly Demons’ attention while Great Hao pursued a secret operation.
• At Silver Deer Valley, Demon King Wujian’s impostor ambushed Great Hao’s team, and Gu Yuanqing rescued Yan Beiming before driving Wujian off and taking part of his origin demonic seed.

• Gu Yuanqing captured the Ten Thousand Dao Stone in the Boundless River, used its insights to reach Perfection, and began his Void Immortal tribulation.
• Gu Yuanqing survived the tribulation and became a Void Immortal, then defeated the Demonic Venerable, the Lord of Nine Li Mountain, and their allies at Qian Yuan Island.

Gu Yuanqing crushed the Netherworld Sect and fought back the heavenly demons while strengthening himself and preparing for conflict with the Primordial Divine Sect. After rescuing Lu Zeyu and learning the Sect’s plans, he moved to strike first, but an attack near Guangling City interrupted his preparations as Li Miaoxuan’s Void Immortal tribulation approached.

• The Mountain-Bearing Divine Turtle carried the Qian Yuan Sect’s disciples through an ancient passage, while Gu Yuanqing killed the Lord of Nine Li Mountain and Zhao Shengbing and forced the Sacred Heaven Sect to seal itself for ten thousand years.
• Gu Yuanqing defeated the Netherworld Sect’s leaders, bargained with the King of the Underworld, and joined the righteous cultivators in destroying the sect’s formations and freeing their captives.
• Gu Yuanqing helped Xiao Wuyou and Li Miaoxuan defeat Jù Niè Demon Lord and Demon King Huiwang, then fought off the heavenly demons alongside Li Miaoxuan and the cultivators of the Nine Domains Divine Continent.

As North Spring Grotto-Heaven neared its transformation, Shadow received power from an ancient sword and Gu Yuanqing set out to investigate the Primordial Divine Sect again.

• Li Miaoxuan overcame her Void Immortal tribulation while Gu Yuanqing fought off Zhou Tianyan, Li Huang, and Mu Qingxuan’s assault on North Spring Mountain.
