As the Demon Gods surged in, the long saber rang with an exultant tremor. Saber light swept out, and Demon Gods fell one after another.

"I also vaguely sensed many formidable powers.
"Those powers were far beyond your level and mine.
"Perhaps some mysterious powerhouses have survived since before the universe was born. They are fighting, battling unknown beings.
"Unfortunately, despite trying everything I could, I found very few traces.
"Perhaps you will find them someday."
The man smiled faintly.

It was hardly surprising that someone who had reached the heights of the man before him could sense something amiss with the universe.
But he did not tell him the truth about this universe, either.

The man gripped his weapon and walked toward the exit of the Main Hall.
