After Wen Ning left the hospital building, the little cat demon didn't follow him out. Zhou Wan had probably kept her there for some kitty cuddles.
Wen Ning decided to visit the Underworld and check how much time Zhou Wan had left.
He walked all the way to the entrance of the Judge's Hall.

Judge Lu was hunched over his desk, reviewing official documents. Two stacks of files taller than a person stood to his left, and he didn't even raise his head.
Hearing someone enter, he simply said,
"Wait over there. We'll talk once I've finished marking this batch."
Wen Ning ignored him, walked straight up to the desk, pulled over a chair, and sat down.
Judge Lu kept working. Only after marking another dozen or so documents did he set his brush down and look up to find Wen Ning.
"Well, this is a rare visit. No business at the shop? What brings you back?"
"I've got a problem, haven't I? That's why I came to you."
Judge Lu leaned back in his chair and motioned for him to continue.
Wen Ning got straight to the point.
"Judge Lu, check a mortal's remaining lifespan for me."
"Sure. Name and Eight Characters of Birth."
Wen Ning gave him Zhou Wan's name and Eight Characters of Birth.
He had glanced at Zhou Wan's medical chart outside the nurses' station. Her birth date and time had been listed on it, and for a deity, one glance was enough to remember something like that.
Judge Lu took out the Book of Life and Death and searched through it. His finger stopped on a page, and his brow creased almost imperceptibly.
