Several strange-looking humanoids suddenly emerged from the rift on Mars.
There was an angel wielding a Light Sword with five pairs of white wings, a demon with a single horn and exposed fangs, and a Minotaur with a bull's head, a human body, and a massive axe.
Three entirely unrelated races had joined forces.
The moment the Light Sword-wielding angel emerged from the rift, he slashed at the empty air.

This explosion was far more powerful than the earlier explosion of flesh. Seeing trouble coming, the demon and the Minotaur had already retreated. The angel, who bore the brunt of it, was not so lucky.
