Tang Chen handed the jade bottle to Tang Ling'er. "Ling'er... give your mother the medicine..."
"Okay..." Tang Ling'er's eyes lit up. She took the jade bottle, walked to the bedside, and carefully fed its medicinal liquid into her mother's mouth.
"My dear granddaughter, step aside for now." Seeing that Tang Ling'er's mother had finished the medicine, Tang Chen hurriedly spoke.

As though possessed of a will of its own, the golden rune drifted toward the center of Tang Ling'er's mother's forehead, then slowly sank into it.

Just then, the woman's eyelashes fluttered, and the eyes that had remained closed for ten
