By the time Yang Qing and the others came down from the restaurant, some of the people outside had finally dispersed.
But that brought them no relief. They discovered that those people had not truly left; they had merely found another way to keep appearing around them.
Clearly, they were all waiting to see what Yang Qing and the others intended to do next.
"So everyone in Xiangyang City is probably watching our every move. Quite the grand show of force."
Ouyang Lin finished speaking with a smile, then casually stopped a man walking past them.
"Friend, might I ask where the Imperial Mausoleum is?"
The man clearly had not expected Yang Qing and the others to ask about this in full public view. He froze for a moment. "I don't know either. I was just shouting along with the others."
"Just shouting along? I never imagined you could be so bold. Is this something to joke about?"
Ouyang Lin still wore a smile, but his hand remained in the man's path.
Clearly, he had no intention of letting him leave.
"Please, hero, I really don't know! Someone gave me a few taels of silver, so I came here to shout a few things. That's all."
Looking at the dagger gleaming coldly in Ouyang Lin's hand, the man broke out in a sudden sweat.
Had he known that a mere few taels of silver might cost him his life, he would never have come.
"Since you don't know, point us toward someone who does. Who sent you here?"
The man trembled all over, but did not dare utter a word.
Yet as long as he remained silent, Yang Qing and the others refused to leave. They stood there, blocking the middle of the road.
Everyone slowly gathered around, surrounding them.
