Chen Hao changed his strategy. Instead of trading blows with Bian, he charged toward Baxia.
Bian pursued him from behind, while Chaofeng chased him from above. He ran so fast that neither could catch him.
When he reached Baxia's shell, he leaped up, planted a foot on it, and launched himself into the air. Turning, he slammed a fist into Chaofeng's wing.
The blow knocked Chaofeng's wing askew, sending the beast plummeting as it lost its balance. Chen Hao twisted in midair and punched Bian in the head. Bian staggered back several steps and crashed into Baxia's shell.
Baxia finally moved. The beast thrust its head out of its shell, opened its jaws, and snapped at Chen Hao. Its mouth was big enough to swallow half a person in one bite.
With nothing to push off in midair, Chen Hao was about to be caught in those jaws. He grabbed the edge of Baxia's upper jaw and used it to flip himself onto the beast's head.
But Baxia reacted swiftly, withdrawing its head in an instant. On Baxia's back, Chen Hao caught sight of Bian and the airborne Chaofeng attacking from the corner of his eye.
Chen Hao's eyes flickered as a plan came to him. He deliberately slowed down and left an opening to lure Bian into a fierce attack, raising his fist as he feinted a blow at Baxia's shell, seemingly intent on challenging that defense head-on.
Sure enough, Bian and Chaofeng instantly closed in, hoping to seize the chance for a surprise attack.
The instant the three divine beasts converged, Chen Hao abruptly turned and kicked hard off Bian's back. He shot into the air, using that momentum to leap straight toward Chaofeng high above!
A feint in one direction, a strike in another—wits, not brute force!
