Light Sword.
Countless Light Swords poured out of the disc of light, hovering in the air with their tips pointed downward. Their numbers kept growing.
A forest of swords covered the entire battlefield overhead.
Every Light Sword gave off a pale silver glow.
The giant Heavenly Demon leader stopped attacking. Its enormous body froze in place, its two half-meter-long antennae trembling in Chen Hao's direction for three seconds.
Then it ran.
It turned around, ignoring the other Heavenly Demons blocking its way, trampling over their bodies as it charged frantically toward the breach in the Barrier.
But it was too late.
Chen Hao lowered his two fingers.
The swords fell.
The first wave. Over a thousand Light Swords plunged at once. They did not fly out. They poured down.
Like a waterfall. Countless Light Swords streamed from the disc of light and plunged downward, moving so fast that all the naked eye could make out was a curtain of silvery-white light. That curtain enveloped the entire area in front of the breach.
There was no sound.
The instant the Light Swords pierced flesh, there were no explosions, no energy shock waves. Only silent penetration.
Every Light Sword struck a Heavenly Demon with perfect precision. Through the head, through the chest, through the spine.
After the first wave, over a thousand Heavenly Demon corpses littered the ground.
The second wave fell right behind it.
The third wave.
The fourth wave.
The rain of swords kept falling. The Light Swords within the disc were endless. Each falling wave was replaced by a newly formed one. Dense silver light poured down from the sky.
The Heavenly Demons streaming through the breach fell row after row, from front to back.
