Yang Wanqing had already reached over with her chopsticks.
"Master, Master, this is it." She picked up a piece of beef and held it in front of Chen Hao. "Don't eat it yet. Let me tell you, this beef is artificially produced."
Chen Hao glanced at it. Its color and grain looked exactly like real beef.
"It might be artificially produced, but it really tastes even better than wagyu. Hurry up and try it."
Chen Hao didn't move.
Yang Wanqing pushed her chopsticks a little closer. "Come on, try it."
Beside them, Chen Siyao had already picked up a piece and started eating. She nodded. "It really is good."
Chen Hao picked up his chopsticks, took a piece, and put it in his mouth.
He chewed twice.
The meat was tender, with evenly distributed fat, and melted in his mouth. The texture really was good... more importantly, his tongue couldn't distinguish it from natural meat at all.
"What do you think?" Yang Wanqing looked expectant.
"It's all right."
"What do you mean, all right? It's absolutely delicious!" Yang Wanqing stuffed another piece into her mouth and spoke around it.
Chen Siyao took another piece as well, chewing slowly. "The cost is still fairly high, so it's only served on select occasions. But apparently they're expecting a breakthrough in costs next year. Then it'll hit the mass market."
"Livestock farming is in for a shake-up." Yang Wanqing swallowed and picked up another piece.
Chen Siyao glanced at her. "You certainly know everything when it comes to food. If only you put this much effort into cultivation."
Yang Wanqing proudly puffed out her chest. "Of course! Besides, it's free. Free food tastes even better. Master, have another piece."
Chen Hao said nothing more. Holding his teacup, he leaned back on the sofa
