"This is what you called a very mild reaction!!!"
Little Lecher's face turned livid as it roared furiously into Little Minghui's ear.
The reason was simple: when Cass went into heat, the beastman gave off that mortifying scent. Little Lecher, being closest to him, suffered the brunt of it-and worse still, unidentified substances came splattering down.
Fortunately, it had retreated quickly.
Feeling wronged by the accusation, Little Minghui hugged Little Sprout and pouted, blinking her round, darting eyes at Little Lecher in silent protest. "How was I supposed to know?"
He had only rubbed against the tree trunk until he accidentally got carried away...
"You're! Ruthless!" Little Lecher gritted its teeth. Faced with her innocent expression, it could only swallow its grievances; even accusing her made it look like a bully.
When Lien returned, he brought another Curly Rabbit from the woods. Sensitive by nature, he noticed something off about the atmosphere between Little Minghui and Little Lecher. Holding the rabbit by its grass cord, he offered it to Little Minghui. "For you."
The Curly Rabbit's fur curled tightly against its plump body, making it look especially amusing. Its lively crimson eyes scanned its surroundings with a hint of timidity.
Toothless, idling nearby, immediately perked up its ears. While Lien wasn't looking, it gave an "awoo," opened its mouth, and scooped the Curly Rabbit inside.
Lien was so startled that he let go immediately. This was his first time seeing Toothless eat like this. Throughout their journey, Toothless had eaten little besides roast meat; even the prey they caught along the way, it ate cooked, just like them.
"Toothless, spit it out."
Toothless opened its mouth and spat the Curly Rabbit back out. The plump little creature lay curled into a ball, looking quite dead.
"Is it dead?"
"Little Mama."
