Jian Tongyao knew nothing of what happened afterward. All she knew was that when she saw Little White Ball the next day, the big fellow had been beaten into a pitiful state. The eyes were especially bad, both bloodshot from the blows. She had thought something was wrong with the method she had taught, causing Little White Ball to get beaten up.
Only later did she learn that Little White Ball had done something outrageously bold that day. Not only had Little White Ball licked Toothless, but a paw had also reached out to fiddle with that unmentionable place. In any case, from then on, Toothless struck mercilessly whenever they met. Their fights went straight from flirtatious tussles to battles to the death.
Of course, that all came later.
After yesterday's incident, Qian Wanyu had realized that her contracted spirit beast was utterly shameless. She immediately decided not to let Ninth Sister get involved in this matter again, and instead took her to the familiar Woods to visit Ziyu and her master.
Jian Tongyao thought she was merely accompanying Qian Wanyu on a stroll. She looked utterly bewildered and was terribly curious about both Ziyu and the old man.
"Seventh Sister, why did she call me Lady Xiang Jun?"
"She mistook you for someone else."
Holding her hand, Qian Wanyu then headed toward the Dragon Queen's bedchamber. Before they reached it, however, they saw powerful fluctuations of spiritual power radiating from the chamber. The clanging and banging were quite intriguing.
Jian Tongyao shrank behind Qian Wanyu and poked her little head out. In the sky, she saw an enormous object resembling a bell trading blows with a dragon. Whenever the two collided, halos of light radiated from them, dazzlingly splendid.
