Four in the afternoon, at the Jinling Great Pharmacy.
After leaving the Jinling Special Zone, Jun Wangchen had not wandered around outside. With three hours left before seven that evening, he had headed to the Jinling Great Pharmacy, where Feng Mei worked, to refine a few healing pills in case of emergencies.
A red carpet lay outside the pharmacy entrance, flowers surrounded the building, and a magnificent stage stood in the main hall. Everything looked wonderfully festive.
Since Jun Wangchen was their dedicated Alchemist, many of the pharmacy staff knew him. The moment he entered, an attendant respectfully escorted him to Feng Mei's office.
Inside the office, Feng Mei sat cross-legged on the floor in a seductive, sheer outfit. A single glimpse of her stunning figure was enough to leave a man utterly entranced.
"Boss, Mr. Jun is here!"
At those words, Feng Mei, who had been meditating to practice her charm arts, suddenly opened her eyes and hurried to her feet.
"Mr. Jun, why didn't you let me know you were coming? I could have had someone brew a pot of fine tea to welcome you!" Feng Mei dismissed the attendant with a wave, then approached Jun Wangchen with an apologetic smile.
"You've been looking well lately, Miss Feng." The alluring fragrance drifting from her body stirred Jun Wangchen's desires. He hurriedly kept his distance, looking slightly embarrassed.
"That's all thanks to you, Mr. Jun. You helped me earn the right to enter the Feng Collateral Branch's scripture repository last time. Since practicing the charm arts, I've felt much better." Feng Mei dipped into a slight bow and thanked him.
"What brings you here today, Mr. Jun? Have you come to discuss the alchemy competition the day after tomorrow?"
Jun Wangchen shook his head. "No. I'm escorting a shipment
