In the lonely grove, the sudden voice startled the three burly men and Zi Hanyan alike.

They turned to see a plainly dressed young man slowly emerging from the darkness, holding a shit-stirring stick and wearing a green hat. Though he lacked the imposing presence of a legendary hero, he carried an unmistakable air of chivalry.

A glimmer of hope flashed in Zi Hanyan's despairing eyes. She had never expected anyone to find her. If he could call the police, she would have a good chance of escaping.

But her heart sank again almost immediately. The newcomer was a scrawny young man. Whether he could even get past the three burly men to call the police was another question.

"What are you here for?" The balding thug stared at Jun Wangchen and signaled to his two companions. They immediately surrounded him, clearly determined not to let him escape.

Jun Wangchen glanced at the pitiful-looking Zi Hanyan and immediately recognized her as the campus beauty. His expression darkened. "You'd even lay your hands on a girl this cute? Should I call you animals or beasts?"

"Little brother, don't think so badly of us. We're just giving this girl a little attention. If you want a share, we can let you have a taste once we're done. But if you're here to cause trouble, don't blame us for being ruthless!" The balding thug exchanged glances with the other two. They smiled, then rolled their arms, their faces twisting into vicious expressions.

This little hill was well hidden. Even if someone heard a cry for help, they would not be able to reach it quickly. If Jun Wangchen really called for help, they could simply deal with him, then take Zi Hanyan away.

Listening to their sleazy remarks, Jun Wangchen's face turned cold. "Sorry, but please don't lump me in with you three animals!"

"Heh, fine. You've got some backbone, kid!" The balding thug sneered and looked at the other two. "Brothers, since this kid's so upright, let's give him a little reward for his 'integrity'!"

The two nodded, wicked grins spreading across their faces as they advanced on Jun Wangchen.

Zi Hanyan's hopes vanished completely. With his scrawny frame, how could Jun Wangchen possibly withstand an attack from two burly men?

As despair engulfed Zi Hanyan again, Jun Wangchen remained calm. After gauging the distance between them, he waved his shit-stirring stick, gazed up at the sky, and sighed. "Once, true love stood before me, but I failed to cherish it. Only after meeting three animals did I come to regret it. There is no greater pain in this world. If heaven gave me another chance, I would say to you three animals... take a blow from Old Sun's staff!"

As his words fell, he gave the two approaching thugs no chance to react. The shit-stirring stick whistled through the air in Jun Wangchen's hands, hurtling straight toward them.

There were no flashy moves, just one simple, brutal swing. Under the Energy Hat's influence, the blow seemed capable of bursting the air itself. Its force surged like floodwater through an opened dam, explosive and swift.

The two thugs had never imagined that Jun Wangchen's skinny body could possess such strength. Before they could react, the stick struck their heads. Their eyes rolled back, and they lost consciousness.

With that done, Jun Wangchen stepped forward again and spun the shit-stirring stick. Beneath the balding thug's terrified gaze, he brought it down on the man's "little brother" before he could dodge.

"Aaargh!"

A piercing scream rang out. His face deathly pale, the balding thug clutched his crotch and collapsed to the ground, twitching uncontrollably in agonizing pain.

At that moment, Jun Wangchen could practically feel the balding thug's quiet sorrow.

Beside him, Zi Hanyan's despairing gaze abruptly changed, filling with shock and disbelief.

Jun Wangchen looked so frail, especially compared with those three big, burly men. Yet this slender young man had knocked two of them unconscious with one swing and left the last lying helpless on the ground. The scene simply did not match his physique!

"Y-you... are you a martial artist?" The balding thug endured the excruciating pain in his crotch, cold sweat pouring down his forehead.

No matter how he looked at him, the young man before him seemed so fragile that a gust of wind could blow him away. Yet the strength he had just unleashed was astonishing.

There was no way an ordinary college student could possess that kind of strength!

Only martial artists like their boss, who could cultivate using the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, could unleash such inhuman power.

"Martial Artist?" Jun Wangchen froze, then scowled. "You think I'd give myself such an ugly name? Remember, my name is Handsome Guy. Spelled H-A-N-D-S-O-M-E, G-U-Y!"

The balding thug: "..."

Zi Hanyan could not help laughing at his words. His little speech even eased some of the terror she had felt since being kidnapped.

This kid must be a martial artist. I can't take him head-on, so... I'll have to use a firearm! While Jun Wangchen was talking, a sinister look flashed through the balding thug's eyes. He knelt on the ground and begged, "I'm sorry, hero! I shouldn't have done something worse than an animal would. I'm willing to turn myself in and change my ways. Please spare me!"

"What do you think?" Jun Wangchen paused and turned to Zi Hanyan, apparently seeking her opinion.

Zi Hanyan looked at the pleading balding thug, then at the calm Jun Wangchen, and found herself caught in indecision.

She hated the balding thug. If Jun Wangchen had not intervened, she would probably have already lost her innocence. Someone like this absolutely did not deserve forgiveness.

But now that the balding thug was willing to surrender, she also felt it would be more appropriate to let the police handle him.

"Die!" While Zi Hanyan hesitated, a vicious glint flashed through the balding thug's eyes. He reached into his pocket, drew a pistol, and aimed it at Jun Wangchen.

Zi Hanyan's scalp prickled, and her expression changed drastically. "Watch out!"

"Hi-yah!" Before the balding thug could pull the trigger, a shit-stirring stick swept through the air and struck his head.

Darkness instantly swallowed the balding thug's vision, and his body slumped limply to the ground.

"Still trying to pull a fast one? I've watched countless movies. I already know exactly what tricks disposable extras like you try at the end." Jun Wangchen glanced disdainfully at the unconscious balding thug sprawled on the ground.

"Zi Hanyan, you must never show mercy to people like this. Otherwise, you'll be the one who suffers!"

Still shaken, Zi Hanyan nodded. "I never imagined he had a gun. Luckily, you were ready, or we would've been in trouble."

Jun Wangchen chuckled. From the moment the balding thug began begging, he had never intended to forgive him, so naturally he had stayed on guard.

Without saying anything more, Jun Wangchen set down the shit-stirring stick. After confirming that all three men were unconscious, he walked over to Zi Hanyan and untied her.

The balding thug had torn away much of Zi Hanyan's clothing earlier, leaving her half exposed. No matter how careful Jun Wangchen was while untying her, some contact with her bare skin was unavoidable.

Once freed, Zi Hanyan's entire face flushed like a ripe peach. She tried to cover herself, but her clothes were in tatters and could not conceal her body.

Seeing this, Jun Wangchen thought for a moment, then took off his shirt and draped it over Zi Hanyan.

The moment Jun Wangchen covered her with his shirt, Zi Hanyan felt something flutter to life deep in her heart. It was a feeling she had never experienced in all her years.

Glancing at Jun Wangchen from the corner of her eye, Zi Hanyan noticed that he was rather good-looking. His features were well proportioned and sharply defined. His hair was short, yet had a breezy elegance.

After a brief silence, Zi Hanyan blushed and spoke. "Um... thank you for saving me."

"It was nothing. Don't mention it." Jun Wangchen waved a hand, looked around, and warned her seriously, "Zi Hanyan, don't ever walk around campus alone this late again. Campus security isn't exactly reliable these days. Forget girls—even boys could get assaulted. So make sure you stay safe!"

"Mm..." Zi Hanyan's lovely face reddened. She lowered her head in embarrassment, answering in a voice as faint as a mosquito's buzz.

Jun Wangchen checked the time on his phone and thought for a moment. Just as he was about to offer to escort Zi Hanyan back to her dorm, he heard scattered footsteps about ten meters away, accompanied by a furious voice.

"You useless idiots! You've been with me for so many years, and you can't even keep an eye on one person! I'm telling you, if anything happens to Hanyan today, I'll have every last one of your heads!"

"Master Zi, please calm down. We've already contacted the president and asked him to send people to search the entire campus. Maybe the young lady just went to a classmate's dorm to hang out. Don't worry!"

"Then why are you still wasting your breath on me? Go find her! Now!"

"Yes, yes, sir!"

Zi Hanyan heard the voices at the same time as Jun Wangchen. Unlike him, however, her face lit up the instant she heard them, and she hurriedly stood.

"My dad's here!"

Jun Wangchen smiled faintly. "That's great. I'll be going, then, Zi Hanyan. Make sure you stay safe from now on!"

"Wait!" Before Jun Wangchen could take a step, Zi Hanyan suddenly called him back.

Jun Wangchen turned to her, a trace of puzzlement on his face. "Is there something else?"

Zi Hanyan pressed her lips together, her face flushed, and stammered, "Um... what's your name?"

"My name is Jun Wangchen!" Jun Wangchen paused, then answered with a smile.

"Jun Wangchen?" Zi Hanyan murmured his name, then bowed to him again in gratitude. "Jun Wangchen, thank you so much for tonight!"

As she spoke, lingering fear still gripped her heart. If Jun Wangchen had not saved her tonight, she feared she would have spent the rest of her life living in endless darkness.

"It's fine. We go to the same school. Of course we should help each other." Jun Wangchen shook his head with a faint smile, then turned to leave.

But suddenly, as though he had remembered something, Jun Wangchen stopped and looked around. Under Zi Hanyan's bewildered gaze, he hurried toward a clump of bushes.

A little while later, Jun Wangchen returned with a handful of dandelions and held them in front of Zi Hanyan.

"Zi Hanyan, give them a blow."

"Huh? Oh, okay!" Zi Hanyan froze. Though confused, she asked no questions and blew gently.

The instant she blew, Jun Wangchen took out a little multicolored flashlight he had bought long ago and shone it on the dandelions.

In an instant, countless dandelion seeds danced through the air, glowing in seven colors like low-floating rainbow clouds, dazzling and vibrant.

"Zi Hanyan, happy birthday!" Jun Wangchen gave her a gentle smile, then turned and headed toward the dorms beyond the trees, his figure gradually disappearing into the grove.

Zi Hanyan stared after him for a long time. Without her noticing, a smile bloomed like a flower at the corners of her lips.

It was the first time she had ever smiled so happily.

Today, she had celebrated a very special birthday.

She had met someone.

He wore no golden armor and rode no seven-colored clouds, but at that moment, he shone brighter than a legendary hero...
