A beam of light tore through the darkness and slammed into the Gauntlet.
Yet after the Qi Wave struck it, the Gauntlet did not shatter. Instead, it lit up, as though it were enjoying itself.
Randall froze at the sight, then hurriedly stopped channeling his power.
The Gauntlet hovered in the air, wreathed in a white glow that made it look utterly wondrous.

Then, with a thought, he sent a steady stream of Qi pouring into the Gauntlet.
The next second, the Gauntlet blazed with light, and the red patterns on its surface began to flash.
Randall watched as the Electric Eel's corpse shriveled at a visible pace. In just half an hour, a Sea King over a hundred meters long had become a dried husk.
