Charlotte Linlin raised her head, and Randall saw a pair of eyes with nothing left but the whites.
She opened her mouth and roared, sending out waves of soul-shaking force.
Randall's heart jolted. Well, damn. This looks pretty powerful.
The next second, Charlotte Linlin vanished from where she stood.
Randall hurriedly crossed his arms in front of him to block.
Almost at the same instant, a massive fist slammed into him.
An enormous force hit him, and Randall went flying.
He crashed into the sea and bounced several times before finally steadying himself.
Randall drew a breath. That punch had left both his arms somewhat numb.
But instead of looking worried, he broke into an excited grin.
It seemed Charlotte Linlin had transformed into a warrior now.

Before Randall could get up, Charlotte Linlin appeared beside him again and lashed out with a sweeping kick.
He went flying once more, bouncing repeatedly across the sea like a skipping stone.
"Th-this is great! Mama has the upper hand!"
"That bastard is done for now!"
"Kill him! Kill him!"
Seeing Charlotte Linlin pummel Randall, the members of the Charlotte Family all grew excited.
Only Smoothie looked at Charlotte Linlin's strange hair with worry in her heart.
For a time, the sounds of blows became the only noise between sea and sky.
It was flesh colliding with flesh, combat in its purest form.
At first, Randall was at a disadvantage.
But as the battle grew fiercer, his soul and body fused more and more.
As a result, his physical durability rose rapidly as well.
In just over an hour, the two were evenly matched.
Another half hour later, Randall had turned the tables and was suppressing Charlotte Linlin.
The previously noisy, excited members of the Charlotte Family instantly fell silent.
