"Come out, Latios!" Seeing Latios willingly enter the Great Ball, Liu Qing finally relaxed. His attitude had seemed firm just now, but faced with the prospect of a Legendary Pokémon, he had still felt his heart rise into his throat, desperately hoping Latios would choose to enter his Poké Ball.
"Since you've made your decision, welcome to our big family. I hope you'll settle in soon." After speaking to Latios, Liu Qing turned to the dozen or so other Pokémon. "Also, I've decided to set off on a journey the day after tomorrow. This time, we're going to Hoenn. Salamence, Hoenn is your homeland, and it's where we first met. Come along and see your home again. Slowking, Togetic, Lucario, and Budew, you four will be joining me too. Oh, and of course, you'll have another companion, but they're still in an egg. I really don't know when it'll hatch!"
At this point, Liu Qing could no longer suppress a bitter inward smile. Hatching Togepi back then had been incredibly difficult. If he hadn't figured out a few things that helped the process, there was no telling when Togepi would have finally hatched. This time, the troublesome egg was the Pokémon Egg he had received from Moe. According to the instruments at home, its vital signs were perfectly normal, yet it showed no sign of hatching. Liu Qing would have to carry it with him throughout his journey in Hoenn, hoping to find an opportunity for it to hatch.
The Pokémon he had named immediately cheered, while those left out looked dejected. Their reactions made Liu Qing chuckle. "It's not as though those of you staying behind have nothing to do. Haven't I already told each of you what I expect? You can train on your own here at home!"
