At the command, Porygon-Z acted. Although it could not steady itself while using a move the way Dragonite could, it had an advantage of its own: its detached head. Its head rotated, its gaze locking onto the ever-growing Twister sweeping toward it. Blue light shone from its eyes again, and a blue glow immediately enveloped the tornado. But when Porygon-Z tried to take control and send it back, it found that it could not.
"What overpowering control!" Liu Qing's eyes flashed. He sensed that Dragonite was still beating its wings on the other side of the Twister. Knowing that forcing it back was impossible, he immediately made a hand gesture. Porygon-Z understood, and the blue light in its eyes blazed. As though caught between invisible hands, the tornado was squeezed inward. Powerful energy shot out in all directions like lightning, until the entire Twister burst apart.
"Dragonite, use Dragon Claw!" Lance's command came the instant the Twister dispersed. Dragonite gave another light beat of its wings and shot toward Porygon-Z like lightning, ready to attack.
Liu Qing did not believe Lance would repeat the same move without a plan, knowing that Porygon-Z could separate its head and body to evade Dragon Claw. Since he did not yet know what Lance intended, the best option was to intercept Dragonite on its way in. He immediately ordered a counterattack. "Porygon-Z, Tri Attack!"
Only moments had passed between the earlier explosion and the clash between Twister and Confusion.
