Though the electricity vaporized much of the water within the whirling vortex, the falling rain kept replenishing it, gradually drawing Thunder's electricity into the tornado. With Dragonite continuously feeding it wind, the tornado hurtled back toward Gyarados. Caught off guard, Gyarados was swept into the vortex of water and electricity and roared in pain.
"Dragonite, go!" Lance's eyes flashed. He had already calculated how long the tornado would take to disperse and ordered Dragonite to close in.
"Gyarados, Aqua Tail!" Liu Qing's expression immediately grew grave. Rain Dance had made Gyarados's Water-type moves stronger and faster, but it had also strengthened Dragonite's attacks. For an instant, he even questioned whether using Rain Dance had been the right decision.
