The newcomer was none other than Hu Jiaxing, who was worried about Hu Bin heading out, along with Charizard!
"Charizard, stay close behind Binbin. Don't let them discover we're here too!" Hu Jiaxing said from Charizard's back.
Charizard gave Hu Jiaxing a sidelong look. Are you telling me how to do my job? You say one thing and do another. You claimed you weren't worried, but you're more worried than anyone. You even woke me up first thing this morning.
Just then, Hu Jiaxing handed Charizard a jar of Pokéblocks while eating something himself.
"Eat up. Binbin left breakfast for us on the table. Have some so we can catch up with them!"
Charizard took the Pokéblocks with gleaming eyes and ate happily while flying along behind Hu Bin and Hu Jiawang.
Just then, another figure appeared beside Charizard, also holding a jar of Pokéblocks and eating.
Hu Jiaxing was instantly startled when he saw the figure beside them. "Tapu Koko, what are you doing here too?"
Charizard greeted Tapu Koko, then reached over and grabbed one of Tapu Koko's Pokéblocks to eat. Let me try your flavor!
Tapu Koko helped itself to one of Charizard's in return, its eyes lighting up. This flavor is pretty good too!
When Tapu Koko didn't answer him, Hu Jiaxing looked thoroughly embarrassed. Hmph, what's so great about you anyway?
Then Tapu Koko noticed Hu Jiaxing too and nodded in greeting. Only then did Hu Jiaxing brighten up. I knew it! A wise, mighty, handsome man like me could never be overlooked!
Hu Jiaxing smiled and greeted Tapu Koko before asking, "Tapu Koko, did you follow along because you're worried about Hu Bin too?"
Tapu Koko nodded, then haughtily looked away.
*I'm only worried I won't have any Pokéblocks to eat in the future.
