Wu Jin and Liu Yi both noticed Yi Nanzi's anxiety and reassured their friend. "Don't worry, Nanzi. This hundred-person team battle might be brutal, but it's great training. We've all been working hard lately, too, and we've had Hu Bin's Pokéblocks to support us. We're strong! There's nothing to be afraid of!"
Their reassurance finally calmed Yi Nanzi down. That was right-this was a chance to prove themselves. How could they back down over a little difficulty?
Yi Nanzi's confidence flared back to life!
Hu Bin smiled when he heard them. It seemed they had all made great progress lately!
Hu Bin asked, "Aren't you worried about what happens after you reach the top sixteen? The matches will be two-on-two. Do you all have two Pokémon now?"
At that, Wu Jin, Liu Yi, and Yi Nanzi-even Qin An-gave Hu Bin resentful looks.
Hu Bin was baffled. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?"
Wu Jin said reproachfully, "Oh, nothing. It's just that someone was having the time of his life in the Alola Region and never bothered to ask how we were doing!"
Qin An and the others nodded in wholehearted agreement, their gazes pinning Hu Bin in place!
Under their stares, Hu Bin nearly broke into a cold sweat. He gave an awkward laugh. "We were in different time zones! I didn't want to disturb your rest. Besides, whenever we chatted, we mostly talked about training. You never mentioned catching a second Pokémon!"
Wu Jin waved it off magnanimously. "Fine, fine. Since you sent us so many Pokéblocks, we'll let it slide!"
The others nodded their agreement!
Now Hu Bin was curious. "So what Pokémon did you all catch? Let me see!"
Everyone shook their heads at him, mischievous grins on their faces!
