Hu Bin said gratefully, "Thank you so much, Gym Leader Qu Shen!"
Qu Shen waved a hand. "It's nothing. No need to be so polite. Just do well at the Pokémon League Conference!"
Before Hu Bin could reply, Lu Gu stormed over, grabbed Qu Shen by the neck, and started shaking him furiously!
"You little bastard! Give me back my battle arena! So you won't wreck your own place, but you'll happily come wreck mine? You pulled out every move you had-Draco Meteor, Earthquake, the lot! Aren't you something!"
Hu Bin simply kept his mouth shut and looked around. Yep! Gym Leader Qu Shen was in trouble this time!
Lu Gu shook Qu Shen until his head spun, leaving his meticulously styled hair a complete mess!
Qu Shen hurriedly said, "Brother Lu, calm down, calm down! Let's talk this over peacefully!"
In truth, Qu Shen felt terribly guilty. There was no way he would ever have allowed a battle this intense to happen in his own Gym.
Seriously, a few battles like that would bankrupt the Gym. The money the Alliance provided would never cover it.
Lu Gu had made a rare generous gesture and lent them the arena this time. How could Qu Shen possibly hold back?
