Vulpix Was Just Too Cute

"Welcome, Vulpix."

Nestled in Hu Bin's arms, Vulpix gazed at his face, gently stuck out her tongue, and slowly licked his cheek.

"Vuu, vuu!"

Next, Hu Bin gave Vulpix a bath, blow-dried her fur, and fed her the Moomoo Milk he had prepared beforehand. Vulpix drank it happily, her little eyes narrowing into smiling crescents!

Throughout the process, Hu Bin and Vulpix grew closer and closer. He showered her with care, and she became increasingly attached to him.

After all that activity, both Hu Bin and Vulpix were sleepy. Vulpix had only just been born, after all, so she tired easily.

In the end, Hu Bin and Vulpix returned to bed and fell asleep together. That was how Vulpix had come into his life, and what had happened before.

Back in the present, all his prior experiences in this parallel world flooded into Hu Bin's mind, allowing him to settle seamlessly into his current life.

Hu Bin rubbed his head. That had been a lot of information to take in at once.

"Holy shit, systems these days can even download everything that happened in the merged world into your head? Pretty advanced!"

Then Hu Bin looked at Vulpix, who was sleeping soundly on the bed. His gaze softened, and he couldn't resist reaching out to stroke her head.

Lost in a pleasant dream, Vulpix seemed to sense her trainer petting her. She instinctively snuggled closer, the corners of her mouth curling up slightly.

At the sight, Hu Bin clutched his chest and took a deep breath.

"I can't take it! She's too cute! Where are my emergency heart pills?"

At dawn, the sun slowly rose. An early-rising Caterpie had already caught a Pidgey's eye, while the Pidgey had no idea a Fearow behind it had already set its sights on it.

Having weathered life's dramatic ups and downs, Hu Bin was still lying in bed, fast asleep with the snowy-white Vulpix in his arms.

"Vuu, vuu."

Vulpix opened her eyes and gave an adorable little yawn. Then she turned toward her trainer, beamed, and gently licked Hu Bin.

Feeling the cool touch, Hu Bin slowly opened his eyes as well. Seeing the smiling little white fox licking his face, he broke into a smile and reached out to stroke her head.

"Did you sleep well, Vulpix?"

"Vuu, vuu!" Hearing Hu Bin's voice, Vulpix smiled and answered cheerfully.

Hu Bin affectionately picked her up and nuzzled her little cheek.

"Come on, let's get washed up and ready for breakfast!"

"Vuu!"

Vulpix responded happily from his arms.

With Vulpix cooperating obediently, Hu Bin used a little toothbrush to clean her tiny teeth, then combed her snowy-white fur and her six little tails, which kept wagging happily.

Once she was all washed and groomed, little Vulpix sat obediently on a chair, her big eyes wide as she waited for Hu Bin to prepare her breakfast.

In the kitchen, Hu Bin opened the fridge, poured Moomoo Milk into a bowl, and added some Oran Berry cut into small pieces. Yep, this was the Pokémon world's version of cereal and milk! The deluxe version, at that!

Moomoo Milk: delicious, nutritious, and rich in creamy flavor. Every Pokémon loved it. Not just any milk could call itself Moomoo Milk!

Oran Berries: sweet and refreshing, with a delicious lingering flavor. Take a bite and feel the energy!

After putting it all together, Hu Bin couldn't help laughing.

"That's me for you!"

When Vulpix, who had been waiting for her meal, saw Hu Bin bring out the food, her big eyes lit up and her six little tails wagged furiously.

But when Hu Bin set the food in front of her, she simply wagged her tails and kept her big eyes fixed on him.

Hu Bin paused at her reaction.

"What's wrong, Vulpix? Don't you want this?"

Vulpix shook her head, then used her head to push the bowl of food toward Hu Bin.

"Vuu!"

Hu Bin's heart instantly warmed, his eyes filling with emotion. He stroked Vulpix's head and spoke softly with a smile.

"Thank you, Vulpix. Go ahead and eat. My food is still in the kitchen—I haven't brought it out yet. I'll get it, and we can eat together!"

Only after hearing his explanation did Vulpix relax. She turned toward the kitchen and called, "Vuu, vuu," urging him to fetch his food so they could eat together.

Smiling, Hu Bin went into the kitchen and brought out his beef noodles.

Incidentally, in this Pokémon world, abusing, abandoning, or eating Pokémon was forbidden. Anyone who broke those rules would face severe punishment from the League. Foods such as beef, lamb, pork, and so on were all produced using advanced technology, making them more nutritious and tastier than their old-world counterparts.

Hu Bin came out with his beef noodles, sat beside Vulpix, and said with a smile.

"All right, Vulpix. Let's eat!"

"Vuu, vuu!" Vulpix answered, her eyes narrowing into smiling slits.

Soon, Hu Bin and Vulpix were focused on polishing off the food before them. Vulpix had buried her entire little face in her bowl.

After breakfast, Hu Bin lounged lazily on the sofa with Vulpix in his arms and rubbed his stomach. Adorably imitating him, Vulpix rubbed her own little belly with her tiny paws.

"Yep, confirmed. She's a girl."

After resting, Hu Bin got ready to take Vulpix out. They had something important to do.

He planned to visit the Pokémon Center to get Vulpix a checkup and register their trainer–Pokémon relationship.

In this Pokémon world, to prevent criminals from stealing or harming Pokémon, adoption, capture, and other related matters had to be registered at a Pokémon Center.

Pokémon Centers were the world's largest official chain, offering Pokémon checkups, recovery, treatment, and even specialized sales of Pokémon supplies—a truly one-stop service.

As Hu Bin carried the curious little Vulpix to the Pokémon Center, they drew plenty of envious and adoring looks. Naturally, the envy was directed at Hu Bin, while most of the adoration went to Vulpix. A Pokémon found only in Alola and exceedingly rare throughout Huaxia, she attracted a great deal of attention in the crowd!

"Wow, Mom! Why does that Vulpix look different from other Vulpix? She's so cute!"

"She's so cute! Honey, I want one!"

"Oh! It's a Vulpix from the Alola Region! That's amazing!"

Amid the admiring remarks and awestruck gazes, the adorable Vulpix showed neither fear nor shyness in Hu Bin's arms. She simply watched the beautiful city and the people who treated her so kindly. She even smiled and raised a little paw to wave hello, melting hearts all around her.

The only one struggling was her trainer, Hu Bin. An ordinary guy who had never received much attention, he found himself drawing plenty of stares today. It put him under considerable pressure, but all that attention also made him proud.

"Hehe, my Vulpix really is adorable. Of course she gets all the attention."
