Seeing Pidgeot and Articuno appear, Hu Bin felt as though his family had come to his rescue. He shouted desperately, "Save me! I'm going to die!"
Pidgeot caught Hu Bin on its broad, sturdy back, while Articuno provided backup from behind.
Hu Bin reached out and grabbed Pidgeot's feathers, steadying himself.

Hu Bin swallowed and said shakily, "Go easy on me, Pidgeot, my friend. I'm afraid I won't be able to take it."
Pidgeot gave Hu Bin a look and left him to interpret it. Then it burst forward, shooting into the sky at Mach 2.
Hu Bin couldn't hold on at all and was thrown straight off.
Articuno immediately swooped over, caught Hu Bin, and took him back to the mountaintop.
Once he was back on the summit, Hu Bin still looked badly shaken. He had thought he was going to die.
Hu Jiaxing snorted. "Still nowhere near good enough. Keep jumping until you can handle Pidgeot's speed!"
