Ponyta looked especially tiny in front of Rapidash.
Flames blazed over Rapidash's body as it spewed a massive torrent of fire at Ponyta.
"Ponyta, Protect!" Hu Bin said calmly.
Ponyta raised a protective barrier, shielding itself securely.
The entire Flamethrower struck Ponyta's protective barrier.
Hu Bin smiled and clicked his tongue, glancing at the weather. The sun was blazing overhead.
Even the heavens are on my side!
"Ponyta, finish it off! Use Multi Shadow Clone, then Moonblast!" Hu Bin said.
Ponyta gave a mischievous grin and created eight clones. Eight moons rose into the sky and exploded simultaneously, surrounding Rapidash and blasting it away.
Lei Tuo was utterly dumbfounded. He had never imagined Hu Bin could be this powerful. Why were Ponyta's clones solid? That was far too unfair!
Rapidash crashed to the ground, catching Lei Tuo completely off guard.
On the podium, Steven smiled slightly and said to Wallace, "Hu Bin's Multi Shadow Clone is really impressive. It's incredibly useful, but it also consumes an enormous amount of stamina. I doubt Ponyta can hold out for the next battle."
"Not necessarily," Wallace replied. "Ponyta from the Galar Region can learn a pretty good stamina-restoring move."
Steven's gaze sharpened as he glanced at the weather. "Tsk, using that move now would be downright brutal."
After defeating Rapidash, Ponyta began panting heavily, but Hu Bin still showed no intention of switching it out.
By then, Lei Tuo had sent out his third Pokémon. It was yellow, with red orbs on its tail and forehead and a white belly. Its hands were flat, and it had only one toe on each foot. Yellow-and-black markings covered its neck, ears, and part of its tail. It was the Electric-type Pokémon Ampharos.
"Ponyta, use Morning Sun," Hu Bin said.
