Tapu Koko looked at Hu Bin and Vulpix and thought, Hu Bin has been so good to me. This time, I have to make sure Vulpix gets everything needed. I should find an Ice-type expert to teach Vulpix, too.
Training in combat techniques with me alone isn't enough. Vulpix needs to strengthen those Ice-type moves and train the Fairy-type moves available after evolving. Looks like I'll have to seek that Pokémon out!

His eyes held pride, anticipation, and, more than anything, reluctance to let go.
Holding Vulpix tightly, Hu Bin smiled gently and said, "Go for it, Vulpix. I'll always support your decisions and be someone you can count on."
Vulpix gazed deeply at Hu Bin with those big eyes from within his arms, then beamed. "Vul!" Master, I won't let you down. We'll always be together!
Tapu Koko smiled faintly at Hu Bin and Vulpix. The power of their bond really is incredible. You'll both go far!
After their break, Tapu Koko and Vulpix resumed their fierce sparring. This time, Vulpix put everything into fighting Tapu Koko. Although Tapu Koko still delivered a merciless beating, it did nothing to dampen Vulpix's excitement.
Once training ended, Tapu Koko took Hu Bin and Vulpix home. After delivering them safely and nodding to them, Tapu Koko turned into a dark blur and left again.
