The instant the Poké Ball opened, a rainbow-colored veil of light burst forth. Hala, Hassman, and Sandslash were all captivated by it. Even some of the Pokémon Trainers and Pokémon who were training nearby came running over to watch in curiosity.
Hala gazed at the veil and murmured, "That move is Aurora Veil! Could Vulpix have..." He smiled. This really was a wonderful surprise.
Hu Bin was just as baffled. Why are you using Aurora Veil? You never told me about this! Why can't you stick to the plan?
The beautiful Aurora Veil unfolded before everyone's eyes. Suddenly, a gentle flurry of snow began falling within it, making the scene look utterly enchanting.
Hu Bin didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Ninetales, you really are a natural at Pokémon Contests. You don't even know Snow Warning, so you used Powder Snow to set the mood instead. What a little genius! Nicely done, Ninetales!
Some Pokémon Trainers who didn't know what was happening stared in confusion at the open Poké Ball on the ground. They couldn't help marveling at how far Poké Balls had advanced. Since when did they come with special effects?
Just then, Ninetales stepped out with an air of cool elegance and gave everyone a faint smile. With Aurora Veil and Powder Snow as a backdrop, Ninetales looked absolutely stunning!
Hala nodded slightly. Just as I thought. Vulpix really did evolve.
Hassman was equally astonished. "Vulpix evolved! Now that's a wonderful surprise. Congratulations, Hu Bin!"
The watching Pokémon Trainers were dazzled by Ninetales' entrance as well, and they looked at Hu Bin with envy.
