"Take care, bro! Come visit whenever you have time!" Hu Bin enthusiastically waved at Tapu Koko's retreating figure.
Tapu Koko waved back at Hu Bin. The bond between brothers really was deep.
Hu Bin's 1.5-meter-wide bed was now a bit of a problem. Before, there had been plenty of room for him, Vulpix, and Torchic to lie on it, but now that Vulpix had evolved into Ninetales, the Pokémon stood a full 1.1 meters tall!
Hu Bin was sleeping in the middle now, with Ninetales taking up a sizable portion of the bed and all nine tails draped onto the floor. Torchic, at least, was tiny and had plenty of room to sleep.
Hu Bin thought about his bed back home in Spring City, which was also 1.5 meters wide. It clearly wasn't big enough anymore. He would have to replace it with a bigger one when he returned. After all, he would be catching even more Pokémon in the future.
After letting his thoughts wander for a while, Hu Bin drifted off to sleep with Ninetales and Torchic.
Torchic slept especially soundly that night, an irrepressible smile lingering at the corners of its beak. In its dream, it had already evolved into Blaziken and was battling Charizard. In the end, it even defeated Charizard!
On that weekend morning, with no training scheduled, Hu Bin, Torchic, and Ninetales were all still in bed, enjoying a long-overdue lie-in.
What they didn't know was that while Hu Bin was still asleep, Hu Jiaxing and Zhao Lifang were already up. Zhao Lifang wanted to make breakfast for everyone, which sent Hu Jiaxing into a panic. He desperately tried to keep her out of the kitchen.
Even Charizard and Altaria were frantic and joined the ranks blocking Zhao Lifang.
*Hu Bin, hurry up and
