By the end of their battle, both Sasuke and Itachi had reached the end of their rope.

The purple Susanoo giant drew its bow and fired an arrow straight ahead.

The purple arrow tore through space, shooting straight toward the orange Susanoo giant.
The orange Yasaka Magatama, however, brushed past the purple Susanoo giant and swept into the sky along a strange curve.
"This time, it really is over!"
Sasuke watched the orange Susanoo giant across from him gradually fade away.
Itachi fell from the air.
Dark clouds gathered, and heavy rain poured down.
The rain washed over the ground, ravaged by their battle.
Sasuke dragged his exhausted body toward Uchiha Itachi.
Rain washed over both Uchiha Itachi and Sasuke.
Itachi lay on the ground, staring up at the sky as his life rapidly drained away.
Clearly, he was already on the brink of death.
"I never imagined you'd come this far, Sasuke. Even I'm no match for you anymore."
"Hmph. Itachi, when you destroyed our clan, did you ever imagine you'd end up like this?"
"Cough, cough!"
Uchiha Itachi coughed violently twice. Blood spilled from the corner of his mouth, and his voice grew much raspier.
"My fate? Heh. I saw it coming long ago. For someone like me, death was always the inevitable end."
"Hmph. At least you had some foresight."
"But, Sasuke, there's one last thing I have to give you."
"Something?"
"Caw, caw, caw, caw!"
A crow flew in from the distance, heading straight toward Sasuke.
One
