After a long while, a muffled grunt came from the hut, and a hulking black monster emerged. Its entire body was as solid as stone, made of rocks joined together without the slightest gap. It was a golem, a very rare form of life. Golems had originally been lifeless rocks or earth elementals before being granted life. Legend had it that they had a deep connection to the dwarves.

The golem wandered about in the rain, making low, muffled sounds as the colors of its body slowly changed. Its body was not a single color, but a mixture of brown and black. Black already covered most of it, leaving very few brown patches, and now the black was slowly deepening, replacing the brown.

"Ah..." After standing there for so long, Rex let out a quiet sigh. His thick lips parted slightly as he said, "Back to base!"
