The mages walking to and fro moved a little faster than usual, their footsteps tapping against the streets. The towering Mage Towers stood as symbols of Dalaran's prosperity.

Standing atop a Mage Tower and looking down over Dalaran, Antonidas took in its distinctive buildings.

He was old. Antonidas had to admit that he was old. Too much had changed in the lands of Lordaeron in recent years. The once-mighty Kingdom of Lordaeron had collapsed so easily, and Gilneas, long confined to a remote corner, had taken control of Lordaeron. With a legacy stretching back over a thousand years, Lordaeron had always been renowned for its strength. Now its glory had faded, withering away entirely and vanishing from the stage of history.

Antonidas admitted that he still had some hopes for the Kingdom of Lordaeron. He was quite supportive of restoring it.

Antonidas sighed. Though he supported restoring the Kingdom of Lordaeron in his heart, he had taken no action, for he could find no justification for doing so. Terenas had gone too far back then. By destroying the Kingdom of Alterac, he had erased an entire great kingdom, reducing the Seven Human Kingdoms to the Six Kingdoms. Antonidas had taken considerable issue with that.

The royal bloodline of the Kingdom of Alterac still survived, yet there was no hope of restoring its kingdom. Antonidas felt that Terenas had been far too ruthless in this regard. Retribution had indeed followed. How many years had passed before the Kingdom of Lordaeron suffered the same fate?
