A breeze swept past, the biting wind blowing without cease. There was something uncanny about it: this was the warmth of March, yet the wind cut to the bone.

Several figures surrounded Rex on all sides.

They stood motionless. The fighting had stopped, and Rex studied the man before him, who radiated an icy chill.

His face was pale and bloodless, his long hair silver-white, without a trace of its former golden brilliance.

Gone was his handsome, sunny demeanor. His eyes held a sinister allure as he approached Rex step by step, Frostmourne in hand.

"Rex, state your purpose." Arthas stopped ten meters in front of him. His proud, solitary figure seemed at odds with the entire world, and his voice was flat.

Arthas's tone was neither friendly nor hostile. It was utterly level, without the slightest emotion. Put simply, he sounded emotionless. His gaze was calm, yet it kept drifting toward the purple vortex that had suddenly appeared behind Rex.

A hazy glow shimmered over it. This was a portal.

Its appearance upset the balance. Rex was no longer fighting alone, surrounded by enemies. He now had the confidence to resist, and even if he had to flee, his escape was assured.

The tension dissipated, and the two sides began talking peacefully.

"Of course, I came to relieve the Lich King of his troubles." Rex's solemn expression softened slightly, revealing a faint smile as he spoke to Arthas in a relaxed tone.

He appeared relaxed, but remained on guard beneath the surface!
