Tap, tap, tap! Those were footsteps!

Footsteps sounded continuously, treading through lush grass as Rex advanced, holding the Crystal Ball.

Images kept appearing on the green Crystal Ball as Rex used it to search for Tichondrius.

Trees, flowers, and grass passed across the Crystal Ball until a demon finally appeared. It was a Felguard, tall and carrying a heavy weapon, moving about constantly. Rex judged that it was patrolling.

Now that he had found traces of demons, the scenery scrolling across the Crystal Ball began to slow. Following the direction where the demon stood, Rex shifted the view, probing deeper little by little.

Beyond the demon squad, Rex discovered more demons gathered in the area. As the view revealed by the Crystal Ball pushed farther in, the demons grew stronger. They were no longer low-ranking Felguards like the one he had first seen, but Greater Demons.

Rex located Tichondrius in the northeastern part of the demon encampment, rather than at its center.

Found him. The image on the Crystal Ball froze. Rex's expression was hidden beneath his golden helmet; only a flicker in his exposed eyes betrayed any reaction.

Using the Crystal Ball, Rex had found Tichondrius in this demon encampment.

Rex carefully studied the number of demons through the Crystal Ball. Tichondrius was not alone here. A large number of demons surrounded him, and that was a major obstacle to killing him. Rex began recalling the original storyline.

After obtaining the Skull of Gul'dan, Illidan had not killed Tichondrius in single combat either. He had brazenly slain him while he was under the protection of a large number of Greater Demons. Illidan had displayed overwhelming strength, crushing Tichondrius as though he were nothing but a clown.

That did not mean Tichondrius was weak. The Burning Legion followed the law
