Black hoofprints marred the silvery-white ground. A bitter wind swept across the land, its endless howling filling the air.
The piercing wind blowing into Rex's face made him instinctively hunch his shoulders. He tugged his cotton mask higher with his right hand and urged his horse onward toward the Greymane Wall.
On this trip to Old Gilneas, Rex would not be returning to Lordaeron City anytime soon. He therefore felt no great urgency to get there. Rather than take the convenient route through a portal straight to Gilneas City, he had chosen to travel with the supply convoy.
