Although Rex had successfully tested his theory through the Paladin, the result proved just how powerful the Warcraft System was.
After witnessing the Paladin's death and then seeing another Paladin still present in the Warcraft System, Rex had begun to wonder whether this was truly resurrection. At first, he had firmly believed it was, but his thinking had changed afterward. The Paladin's remains were still there, yet his figure had already appeared in the Warcraft System.
Now that he had successfully recruited the Paladin, Rex had confirmed his suspicions. The Paladin before him knew nothing about the series of questions he had just asked.
The Paladin looked exactly the same, but Rex knew that he had little connection to the one he had recruited before. It was called resurrection, but in reality, the Warcraft System's world had merely manufactured another Paladin.

Still, that was not the only way to explain it. One could also say that the Paladin had been reborn, severing all connections to his past. Rex did not believe that explanation, however. In his view, the Paladin before him had been manufactured anew.
An absurd idea even arose in Rex's mind: the Paladin was a mass-produced product. With enough resources, he could have as many as he wanted. Rex shook his head, driving the thought away. It was too terrifying. In Azeroth, only one person in a million reached Heroic Difficulty, making such people the rarest of the rare. If mass-produced soldiers could reach Heroic Difficulty, as Rex imagined, how terrifying would that be?
