Whoosh! Whoosh! Waves crashed against the reefs, throwing up sparkling white spray several feet high. They surged ashore, gently caressing the fine, soft sand before reluctantly retreating, stroking it again and again without end. They traced silver edges across the beach, as though framing the vast ocean in gleaming silver, making it all the more enchanting and beautiful. Billowing white waves rolled in from the horizon, their bright, silvery crests pushing and chasing one another. They drew closer and closer, rising higher as they approached, their roar growing louder, until they charged in like a vast army amid thunderous explosions.
Layer upon layer of waves spread into the distance and slowly subsided, as though pausing to catch their breath, leaving fleeting foam and the musty, briny smell of swaying seaweed.
By the western sea, Rex wore a faint smile as he sat on a rock, quietly gazing out over the water and waiting for the changes to the Warcraft System world to finish.
Until those changes were complete, none of the buildings in the Warcraft System world would function.
