Neptulon the Tidehunter was one of the four Elemental Lords and a subordinate of the Old Gods. His fearsome reputation was well earned. In ancient times, he had challenged the Titans alongside the others. Though they had failed, their survival alone proved how extraordinary they were. After all, the Titans had merely imprisoned them in the Elemental World rather than killing them.
Now that he had returned to Azeroth, Neptulon the Tidehunter had immediately begun stirring up trouble. He was the polar opposite of Ragnaros, who had remained quiet all this time. Rex was speechless. Had the two somehow swapped their elemental natures? Ragnaros, who should have had a fiery temper, was behaving himself, while Neptulon the Tidehunter, ruler of the water elementals, had actively stepped forward to cause trouble.
After the archmage left, Rex sank into thought. Although he was certain Neptulon the Tidehunter was responsible, what motive did Neptulon have for attacking Gilneas? Why target Gilneas?
