Thank you to Huanyue Wuchen for the tip! Jiaoshou is deeply grateful. I also want to apologize for missing yesterday's update. With the New Year approaching, things have been a little busy.
With no way forward at the Tavern, Rex wasted no time. He turned around and headed straight back to the castle. He gave up on the Goblin Shop as well. If his guess was right, with so many war golems stationed around the Tavern, things would be little better at the Goblin Shop. Given the Warcraft System's usual antics, Rex doubted it would give the Goblin Shop special treatment.
Rex pondered the matter all the way back. There really were no easy gains to be had. The appearance of neutral buildings in the Warcraft System world seemed like wonderful news, but whether he could actually claim their benefits was another matter.
No matter how great a benefit was, even if it was greater than the heavens, it did not belong to you if you could not get your hands on it. No amount of talk would change that. This was precisely the situation Rex faced. Unable to claim the Tavern or the Goblin Shop, he could only stand by and look at them. They might as well not have appeared at all.
By now, an uneasy premonition had already formed in Rex's heart. He had some troubling suspicions about the war golems outside the Tavern.
He sighed. Things were troublesome in the Warcraft System world, nowhere near as convenient as in the real world. Rex faced considerable obstacles here. In the real world, he could have judged the war golems' strength at a glance, but his wealth of experience did not apply in the Warcraft System world. Its system of power differed from that of the real world.
