Heavy footsteps rang out. A squad of guards appeared in Rex's field of vision, clad in armor and carrying weapons. They marched in orderly formation, silent as mountains, without a word as they patrolled.
Rex's trip to the Goblin Shop had been a complete success. The goblin now understood the problem Rex wanted solved and would do his best to help when he next returned. All Rex needed to prepare was money.
