Here came the fifth update! This was my first ten-thousand-word day, so please add the novel to your favorites. And about those recommendation votes: we were about to get pushed off the category rankings, so give it your all, everyone! With enough support, another five-update day was certainly possible.
Countless black dots filled the sky, hurtling toward them in a dense mass with a whistling roar. Every dot was a rock, each a meter across. So many rocks thrown at once made for a terrifying sight.
The Orc army had no catapults, but they had forced Ogres into that role instead. This was Azeroth, a world of limitless possibilities.
All manner of strange races lived here, each possessing unique traits that other races lacked.
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang!
The impacts kept coming. These rocks made no distinction between friend and foe. As Rex watched members of the Knights of the Round Table get smashed into bloody pulp, flesh flying and blood splattering the ground around them, his eyes burned with fury. He shouted at Kael'thas, "Are you still not ready?"
Every member of the Knights of the Round Table represented Rex's painstaking efforts. He had poured his blood and sweat into each and every one of them.
The Knights of the Round Table had suffered more casualties from that single volley of rocks than they had fighting the Kobolds who had climbed onto the walls. That was why Rex was so furious. Staring at another volley of rocks in the sky, he swung his heavy sword in rage. His blade struck a rock and sent it flying back at twice the speed at which it had come.
Bang! A towering Ogre was smashed to pieces. Another Ogre beside him was caught by the flying fragments and lost an arm.
