Telredor!
Early that morning, Rex pushed open his door and walked slowly outside.
He gazed at the light rising in the distance. Though sunlight reached Zangarmarsh, it did nothing to change the gloom.
Standing atop the mushroom, he stamped his foot against it. The mushroom was solid, even sturdier than wooden planks.
It was practically rock. This mutated mushroom was no longer edible.

They all had extraordinary value. Any plant grown in Zangarmarsh underwent unexpected changes. Rex very much wanted to plant some species native to Azeroth here and observe exactly what changes they would undergo.
Zangarmarsh was a treasure trove for Druids, and its other effects were remarkable as well. If crops were planted here, would they mutate into varieties with higher yields?
Once those varieties were cultivated and their seeds taken away, could they be planted elsewhere?
If all of this succeeded, the value of Zangarmarsh would become clear.
He looked toward the elevator in the distance. With the arrival of daylight, it had already begun operating.
