He hesitated, tempted to stop for a rest. After some deliberation, however, he abandoned the idea and said, "No, we keep moving."

"We're not far from our destination now. A few more hours, and we'll be there. Then we can rest without worrying." After weighing the matter, the captain refused the suggestion and continued, "Rather than resting here, we should get back to camp, turn on the air conditioner, and enjoy some cool air. Then we can escape this heat completely."
