The orc moved swiftly and precisely. An ordinary person would have been lifted straight off his feet by that strength, but the man before him was anything but ordinary. After the orc grabbed him, Beastmaster made no attempt to resist, yet a force still pushed back from his body. He stood as immovable as a mountain. The orc had intended to pull Beastmaster behind him, only to encounter resistance. Beastmaster did not budge, much to his surprise.

Although Beastmaster's strength surprised him, the orc still believed he was no match for those Broken. His voice grew anxious as he shouted, "Hurry! Get on!"

"If we delay any longer, we won't get away!" Seeing his fellow orc refuse to cooperate, he grew furious and snapped, "If you don't get on, I'll leave without you!"

It was a threat, but Beastmaster simply ignored it. He remained completely unmoved and took no action, as though he had heard nothing at all.

The orc was a deeply responsible man. Despite his companion's behavior, his threats were only words. He could never truly abandon one of his own. Watching Beastmaster stand there, he gave a bitter smile. "Fine. An orc should face everything bravely. It seems you're a true warrior."

Beastmaster's refusal to move, along with his tight grip on his weapon, had led the orc to misunderstand him. He thought this fellow orc knew he was outmatched but had chosen to stand and fight rather than flee. That was the courage an orc should possess: fearlessness in the face of any enemy.
