I failed to deliver extra chapters today, so this is a regular update. Sigh, I suddenly got used to writing four thousand characters, and now writing any more really feels difficult. Once I finish four thousand, I never want to keep going, so I'm sorry. I'll take the next couple of days to adjust and keep the updates steady. In the northwest of Tirisfal Glades.
A party of knights and mages rode Gryphons high in the sky. The scenery around them raced backward, and howling winds battered them from the front, cutting against their faces like knives.
Clearly, however, the Gryphon Riders had long since grown accustomed to this. Their expressions remained unchanged, as calm as ever. The mages were another matter. Their brows furrowed deeply against the knife-sharp wind and never relaxed. They were utterly unaccustomed to these conditions. One mage gently raised an arm, parted his lips, and began murmuring an incantation. Finally, he swept his hand through the air before him.
A transparent screen appeared in front of him. It did not obstruct his view at all, leaving the scenery ahead clearly visible, but it blocked the biting wind.
Seeing what that mage had done, the other mages began following his example. Only once these invisible barriers sheltered them did they adjust to flying in such miserable weather.
