"The Undead," Rex murmured to himself as he listened to the report from the Mage standing before him. That was what the others in the Kingdom of Gilneas called them, though Rex preferred to call them the living dead.
After all, that had been the official term in his previous life. It was much like Mages: in many places, people preferred to call them Sorcerers.
The living dead had appeared in Tirisfal Glades. Rex had no choice but to take that news seriously. He had paid little attention to the Portal before, but now he had to consider what consequences their appearance might bring.
Speaking of the living dead, Rex naturally hated them with a passion. His hatred was enough to drive him mad.

Their last attack on the Eastern Plaguelands, for instance, had specifically targeted the Kingdom of Gilneas rather than anyone else. It was as if they had made Gilneas their sworn enemy, and Rex was deeply unhappy about that.
Although the Kingdom of Gilneas had always held the upper hand in its battles against the living dead, even victory brought it no benefits. This was nothing like fighting in Outland, where the rewards of victory were tangible: the kingdom could directly acquire Outland's resources. Fighting the living dead offered nothing to gain
