Rex had begun entering the Warcraft System world repeatedly, and he had good reason to do so.
Rex now wanted to break through and become a Demigod, and the best way to do that was undoubtedly through the Warcraft System. Without it, becoming a Demigod would, in his eyes, have been utterly impossible.
Yes.
Utterly impossible.
There was no doubt about that, nor any room for debate.
Among humans at the time, only one class could break through to the Demigod rank. It was not that the other classes were entirely incapable of it, but their chances were so vanishingly small that success was effectively impossible.
Becoming a Demigod was extraordinarily difficult. Setting aside the circumstances in other worlds, it was fair to say that a Demigod already stood at the very summit of Azeroth. Such beings were exceedingly rare there. After all, Azeroth was a small world, not a great one, and there was a limit to the power it could accommodate. Demigod was already the highest level of strength Azeroth could contain.
That was precisely why Demigods were so rare in Azeroth.
For comparison, if the power Azeroth could accommodate extended beyond Demigods to true gods, Demigods would not have been as precious as they were then. With true gods present, they would have represented Azeroth's greatest strength, and Demigods would no longer have mattered nearly as much.
Although Demigods would still have been powerful and formed the backbone of its forces, they would no longer have been its ultimate pillars of support.
Their importance would have diminished. Unfortunately, in Azeroth, Demigods were the strongest beings of all. A single Demigod represented the world's highest level of combat power.
Among Humans, no class other than Mages had ever produced a Demigod. That could be stated categorically, because there
