Arc 3The Skeleton Desert Ruins

Ning Que entered the Skeleton Desert to find Su Yunjin and his father, then uncovered the ruins of Lu Tong and fought the cultivators who tried to claim their treasures. After leaving the ruins with Ning Yuanzhou and Yi Tao, he faced Wu Pengfei’s attempt to arrest him, but Li Jieyang protected him as a Fallen Star Pavilion Exalted Immortal.

  • Ning Que took control of the desert prison by supplying food and water, then led Yi Tao and the prisoners against the Mara soldiers who came to seize him.
  • Ning Que crossed into Mara disguised as a prisoner and found Ning Yuanzhou in the Blackwater Prison, where he revealed himself as his son and learned the location of the ruins.
  • Feng Shande forced Ning Que, Ning Yuanzhou, and Yi Tao to scout the ruins, where Heroic Spirits guarded a buried cave abode and the Supreme Sect cultivators looted cursed coffins.

Arc 4The Holy Son Revealed

Ning Que returned to the Fallen Star Pavilion, where Xing Chenyuan’s scheme brought the Moon Gazing Pavilion down on the sect. After Ning Que was arrested and tortured, Sword Slave recognized him as the Purple Sky Holy Land’s supposedly dead Holy Son, leaving Xing Chenyuan exposed and facing a soul search.

  • Ning Que brought Ning Yuanzhou back to Flowing Sand and killed the Heaven and Earth Gate attackers, then left after promising to return.
  • Liu Fusheng and the Supreme Sect’s experts tried to kill Ning Que, but the Divine Stone Guard and Shadow Guard rescued him and escorted him to the Fallen Star Pavilion.
  • Ning Que challenged the Fallen Star Pavilion elders over Lu Tong’s missing scripture rubbing and warned Xingyunzi that Xing Chenyuan’s evil cultivation threatened the sect.
  • Mu Xuehuang’s simulation revealed Ning Yuanzhou’s past and the origins of Flowing Sand, and she launched a purge of corrupt ministers while sending Zhao Chengfeng against the group.
  • Xing Chenyuan gave Ning Que an altered copy of the Four Divine Constellations Scripture, then used the original to cultivate the Star-Devouring Art as the Moon Gazing Pavilion accused the Fallen Star Pavilion of harboring Evil Cultivators.
  • Steward Ge’s people arrested Ning Que, who used his third Background Edit to take on the identity of the Purple Sky Holy Land’s Holy Son, and the Moon Gazing Pavilion later subjected him to heavenly thunder torture.
  • Sword Slave arrived, knelt before Ning Que, and attacked Steward Ge after recognizing him as the Holy Son believed dead three years earlier.
  • Liu Fusheng and Liu Piaoying begged Ning Que for mercy, Sword Slave killed Mo Qingdi, and Xing Chenyuan confessed to practicing evil cultivation and framing Ning Que before Sword Slave began to search his soul.
