The man seemed startled by Snow Fox. He abruptly turned his head and gave an awkward smile. "All right, I understand. I couldn't sleep, so I came out for some air."
Snow Fox withdrew his head. Amon suddenly heard something fall into the water. He looked back at the glass, but the Hunter who had been there was gone.
The sonar emitted a series of beeps, and a shadow drifted beneath the water.
"What was that?" Snow Fox noticed the anomaly as well. He opened the door and swept his gaze over the passage along the side of the boat, but the Hunter was nowhere to be seen. Only ripples continued spreading across the surface.
"Damn it, something happened! Wake up! Everyone, wake up!" he shouted.
Amon struck the alarm hard with a clang.
The people in the lounge immediately woke up. One after another, they grabbed their weapons and rushed out of the cabin.
"What happened?" Sand Scorpion had a flashlight mounted beneath his gun, and its harsh beam shone directly on Snow Fox.
"There's something underwater... Also, someone's missing!" He looked at Brother Jie and shouted, "Check your men."
After confirming there was no danger aboard, Dinosaur immediately climbed onto the roof of the boat and switched on the searchlight.
A huge splash suddenly erupted from the water in the distance, and rings of ripples spread outward.
"Take the boat over!"
This time, Wusen was not as nervous. Although some of the Hunters still activated their Golden Eyes, he suppressed the fear in his heart, entered the cockpit, and had the boat slowly approach.
An arm suddenly broke through the surface and grabbed the edge of the boat.
It was the missing Hunter. Brother Jie reached out and pulled him from the water.
Blood kept flowing from the
