Background / History
Amon transmigrated into a body weakened by a recent resurrection. His martial soul’s chaotic nature made meditation agonizing: instead of warmth, it brought dense, maddening whispers. Its soul power became cold and sinister, capable of mentally damaging targets with weak wills. 3 9
Before his life in Douluo, Amon experienced two seconds in the Lord of the Mysteries world between Dual-@@REF_ENTITY_12744924@@ Amon and the Evernight Goddess. The memory remained vivid enough to be reproduced by Shi Nian’s illusion. 119
He initially possessed four avatars. Their number doubled annually from four to 128 over five years, then doubled again after he consumed the Soul-Solidifying Flower, which strengthened and accelerated the recovery of his soul. 160 The avatars studied, scouted soul beasts, executed dangerous work, and developed distinct personalities that Amon could influence but not fully determine. 9 83
At Northland Academy, Amon became captain of a tournament team that included Yan Jin, Lei Yin, Vidal, Romier, and Aria. Vidal acknowledged his leadership after challenging him, while later displays of martial soul fusion and overwhelming force cemented Amon’s control over team decisions. 34 61 77
During the Continental Advanced Soul Master Tournament, Amon publicly displayed his abilities, stole skills from Xiao Wu and Bibi Dong, and gained the standing to negotiate with powers such as Spirit Hall and the Heaven Dou crown prince on equal footing. 144 He later hunted the Three-Eyed Golden Lion for his sixth spirit ring, stole the fate of his own main body to transfer the main-body status between avatars, and reached Soul Saint. 160 177 188
Following the tournament, Amon secured a vast landed dukedom from the Heaven Dou Empire, including territory formerly associated with the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. He killed clan leader Yu Yuanzhen, renamed Blue Dragon Territory as Tudor Territory and Thunder Dragon City as the City of Night, and encouraged theft as part of his territorial policy. 151 165 166 During the ensuing war, he assimilated Star Luo Emperor Dai Chenghua and a substantial portion of the Star Luo Army into his collective, helping bring about a peace treaty between the two empires. 223
Amon manipulated his notoriety as a thief, swindler, and calamity to collect the Power of Faith associated with stealing and deception. His eventual godhood scheme succeeded when he deceived the Sea God and Asura God, accommodated the Error, Gate, and Fool God Positions, and became the King of Space and Time. 223 314
After entering the Battle Through the Heavens world, Amon developed a cultivation system based on rotating cultivation between his main body and avatars. He controlled regions through puppet magical beasts, obtained a human form with a Humanoid Transformation Pill, pursued Heavenly Flames, and eventually ascended to Dou Emperor. 333 356 375 708
In the Dou Qi Plane, Amon established the apparent Amon Clan as an ally of the Xiao Tribe while concealing that its members were fundamentally extensions of himself. He manipulated Xiao Yan’s environment through multiple identities, occupied critical nodes in Xiao Yan’s fate, and eventually stole Xiao Yan’s fate in pursuit of the Firmament Ranking. 443 633 1047 1050
After reaching the Great Thousand World, Amon cultivated to the Heavenly Sovereign level, learned to reconcile spiritual energy with Demonic Qi, and infiltrated the Outer Evil Clan through Parasitism. His name became taboo among the upper echelons of the Great Thousand World as he harassed the Outer Evil Clan and targeted ancient divine clans. 805 809 889
Appearance
Amon is most commonly recognized by a black classical robe, a Pointed Soft Hat, and a crystal-like Monocle worn over his right eye. 209
- The monocle can be materialized from Soul Power through his External Soul Bone. 2
- His human form is adjustable after consuming the Humanoid Transformation Pill. 375
- His true main body is described as a translucent, starlight-colored worm with twelve rings. 332
- His Dragon Phoenix form possesses enormous wings. 661
- As “Miss Amon,” he can assume the appearance of a beautiful black-robed woman with star-like eyes, retaining his right-eye monocle and characteristic smile. 309
- The Celestial Worthy Dharma Body wears a black robe and Bronze Mask, with countless patterned tentacles beneath the robe. 701
- The Amon Clan’s public-facing “patriarch” may wear a white Pointed Soft Hat and white robe embroidered with gold in order to appear distinct from Amon’s main body. 635
Personality
Amon is calm, calculating, and habitually amused by danger. He favors long-term gains, information control, and indirect solutions over unnecessary confrontation. Even when facing powerful enemies, he evaluates whether killing them would offer a concrete benefit. 180 395 1392
His avatars are more variable. Their differing personalities can produce independent goals, internal disagreement, and even conflict; Amon regulates the collective will by eliminating avatars whose dispositions pull it too far toward either extreme. 83 223 357 865
Despite his ruthlessness, Amon retains limits he describes as his humanity and bottom line. 1047
Amon’s initial plans in the Dou Qi Plane prioritized self-preservation and retaining alternatives should his growth fail. As his strength and understanding of the local cultivation system increased, his approach shifted toward the aggressive objective of stealing the Firmament Ranking and transcending the plane. 1047
He is capable of sincere-seeming care and affection toward select people, particularly his daughters, while still viewing relationships as potential components of broader plans. 688 1047
Abilities & Skills
Spirit Worms and Avatars
Amon can divide himself into Spirit Worms and avatars, using them for cultivation, combat, scouting, reserves, and independent activity. 333
- Avatars can study, gather intelligence, cultivate, fight, infiltrate, and serve as contingencies for survival. 160 218 333
- His avatars can possess different personalities and may become increasingly autonomous. 83 357
- Main-body status can be transferred by stealing the fate of the “main body” from one Amon to another. 188
- The full collective may not possess a single fixed main body; all avatars together can constitute the complete Amon. 898
- After becoming a Dou Emperor, every avatar gains the status of a Dou Emperor and can draw on extraordinary control over heaven-and-earth energy. 708
- Through the Trojan Horse of Fate, a safely positioned avatar can steal important abilities from an avatar about to die, preserving them for the collective. 177
- Amon can abandon a main body and awaken his consciousness in a Spirit Worm, allowing that worm to become a new main body. 469
- A Spirit Worm may be fused into another being to grant the host cultivation corresponding to the worm’s level, including Dou Wang- and Dou Huang-level power. 444
- Amon maintains pure reserve avatars to preserve his foundation and avoid excessive contamination, while also consuming selected avatars’ bodies and souls to accelerate cultivation. 332
Manifestation and Return
Amon’s first Spirit Ring ability allows him to steal and store the manifestation of his own martial soul, spirit rings, and soul skills. 1
- By concealing these manifestations, he can make his martial soul and Spirit Rings undetectable until a soul skill leaves his body. 1
- Stored manifestation can be returned at a chosen moment, allowing Amon to create sudden spectacles of power and mislead opponents about his true strength. 1
- He can accumulate Soul Power Manifestation from many avatars, then release it as an overwhelming but artificially assembled Soul Pressure. 141 201
- This method can imitate Limit Douluo-level pressure, although high-level experts can identify its dispersed and unnatural nature. 141 263
Decipherer
Amon’s third soul skill combines predictive analysis with battlefield perception. 34
- Enhances perception and insight into weaknesses and loopholes.
- Provides danger premonition.
- Reads subtle physical cues to predict an opponent’s next move.
- When active, reveals a target’s imminent soul-ring or soul-bone skill one second ahead, including its effects and flaws.
- Its information quality drops sharply against targets stronger than Amon. 34
Steal and Fire Thief
Amon can steal soul skills, martial souls, and eventually conceptual targets such as fate. 144 177 206
- Stole Xiao Wu’s Invincible Golden Body and Teleportation. 144
- Stole all twelve soul skills from Bibi Dong’s first through sixth rings across her two martial souls. 144
- Retained Eternal Wound while returning Bibi Dong’s other eleven stolen soul skills as part of their negotiation. 146
- Acquired Eternal Wound, a hundred-thousand-year single-target attack skill. 144
- Can borrow or steal another person’s martial soul, soul skills, and body for his own use. 165 206
- Uses Fire Thief in conjunction with fate threads to transfer abilities across avatars. 188
- After gaining Steal Life, Amon can target souls themselves, allowing him to assimilate stolen and contaminated souls into avatars at the risk of destabilizing his collective will. 223
- Uses Dream Thief to greatly improve the collective’s efficiency in hunting Soul Beasts and acquiring Soul Bones. 188
Trojan Horse of Fate
Amon’s sixth soul skill extends his theft domain into fate itself. 177
- Allows direct mental communication between Amons regardless of distance.
- Enables All-Amon Meetings and collective referendums.
- Allows long-distance theft of skills between the main body and avatars.
- Lets him preserve important stolen skills by transferring them away before an avatar dies.
- Can transfer main-body fate and its associated martial soul and External Soul Bone. 177 188
- Allows Amon to steal the fate of weaker targets and replace them in the perceptions of others. 177
- Once an ability has been distributed through the fate connection, every Amon can potentially access it; only one aggregated Amon can wield the full Title Douluo-level combat configuration at a time. 177
- The Fate Rule also supports Amon’s ability to sense when his name is invoked or discussed under appropriate circumstances. 880 926
Parasitism
Amon uses Spirit Worms to invade and control other beings. 223 359
- Parasitized nearly one-third of the Star Luo army. 223
- Controlled snake-people to search for Heavenly Flame clues. 364
- Parasitized Hai Bodong to break Queen Medusa’s seal and access his knowledge. 359
- Assimilated Dai Chenghua after exploiting the Star Luo Emperor’s unstable mental state, making him part of the collective. 223
- After resolving the incompatibility between Demonic Qi and spiritual energy, Amon became able to parasitize members of the Outer Evil Clan. 809
- Later-enhanced Parasitism can overwrite a target’s mind more fundamentally than its earlier hypnosis-based form. 1290
Soul Power Materialization
Amon’s External Soul Bone is attached to his Martial Soul rather than his body. 2
- Materializes Soul Power into transparent solid or liquid matter.
- Has no direct consumption cost beyond granting Soul Power this property.
- Can create his signature monocle and form Soul Power constructs. 2 188
Mythical Form
After obtaining his seventh spirit ring, Amon can transform into his Worm of Time Martial Soul. 204
- Replaces the normal Beast Martial Soul Avatar in Amon’s terminology.
- Previously, his main body could only remain in human form. 204
Gate, Error, and Fool Authorities
Amon condensed and accommodated the Error, Gate, and Fool God Positions, making him the King of Space and Time. 314
- Gate enables him to create and manipulate Gates for spatial traversal and planar access. 708
- He can perceive, magnify, weaken, and break loopholes in seals, including by combining that ability with limited “open the door” authority from the Tuoshe Ancient God Jade. 472
- After reaching Dou Emperor, he tore open the Dou Qi Plane’s barrier, gathered Origin Emperor Qi, and used successive Gates to repair the breach. 708
- His deception-based Fool authority enabled him to mislead the Sea God and Asura God during the condensation of his God Positions. 314
Celestial Worthy Dharma Body
Amon possesses a temporary Dou Emperor-level Dharma Body. 701
- Used against the Emperor Grade Embryonic Pill after exhausting it with clones and Spirit Worms. 701
- Ranked eighth on the Dharma Body Register. 872
- Produces a polluting influence that can drive creatures mad and mutate them. 872
- Can be assembled by multiple Amons merging into its different components, including its head, cloak, tentacles, and monocle. 1011
- Its ten-thousand-zhang form is composed from countless Spirit Worms and manifests a black robe, Bronze Mask, and innumerable patterned tentacles. 701
Spirit Words
In his later Dragon Raja-era incarnation, Amon possesses specialized Spirit Words. 1290 1438
- Ghost — conceals his presence until he chooses to reveal himself; Odin and Xia Mi failed to detect him. 1438
- Parasitism — enhanced to more deeply rewrite and replace a target’s mental essence. 1290
- An exclusive Spirit Word comparable to Primordial Authority is described as his most abnormal ability. 1290
- His awakened Dragon Raja bloodline is evaluated as A-Rank. 1177

Story Role / Major Arcs
Northland Academy and Tournament
Amon forms and commands Northland Academy’s team, demonstrates fusion compatibility with Romier, and asserts command over the group’s members and decisions. 34 77
He wins the Continental Advanced Soul Master Tournament and uses the occasion to reveal enough of his strength to gain political standing. 144
During the tournament’s conclusion, he steals all twelve of Bibi Dong’s first six spirit-ring skills across both of her martial souls, retains Eternal Wound, and returns the remaining eleven skills as leverage in a later negotiation. 144 146
Dugu Bo Conflict and Tudor Territory
After helping Dugu Bo address the weakness of his poison cultivation, Amon recognizes the Title Douluo’s hostility and prepares contingencies against him. 81
He manipulates Dugu Bo into attacking, uses Eternal Wound and concealed avatars to force him into retreat, then exploits the threat posed to Dugu Yan to drive him toward Heaven Dou City. 146 147 148
Amon subsequently becomes Grand Duke, kills Yu Yuanzhen, and takes control of the former Blue Dragon Territory. He renames it Tudor Territory, renames Thunder Dragon City the City of Night, and uses deliberately chaotic theft policies to reinforce his public identity as the Thief Duke. 151 165 166
Star Dou Forest Conflict
Amon identifies the Three-Eyed Golden Lion as the ideal sixth spirit-ring target, plans a three-year campaign to accumulate enough avatars, and becomes a threat feared by the forest’s Ferocious Beasts. 160 162
He later obtains the Auspicious Beast’s spirit ring, transfers main-body status through fate theft, and reaches level 70. 188
Afterward, Amon deploys more than six thousand avatars into the Star Dou Forest to hunt Soul Beasts, accumulate Soul Bones, and raise the collective’s strength. The resulting excess of Soul Bones eventually triggers a Great Heavenly Tribulation. 188
War, Assimilation, and Douluo Godhood
During the conflict between the Star Luo Empire, Heaven Dou Empire, Spirit Hall, and the Soul Beasts, Amon uses avatars disguised as generals to take control of Dai Chenghua and assimilate the Star Luo Army. His intervention contributes to a peace treaty ending the war. 223
Amon’s public image as a thief and swindler becomes a deliberate source of faith. By linking stealing and deception to his name across the continent, he cultivates the Power of Faith needed for godhood. 223
He later fools the Sea God and Asura God, condenses the Error, Gate, and Fool God Positions, and becomes the King of Space and Time. 314
Battle Through the Heavens Development
Amon reorganizes his avatars into a cultivation network, establishes influence around the Misty Cloud Sect, seeks Heavenly Flames, and gains a human form. 333 356 375
He infiltrates or manipulates figures including Hai Bodong and Gu He, acquires the Green Lotus Core Flame’s location, absorbs the Fallen Heart Flame, and expands his control among the Fire Lizardmen. 359 364 423
Amon also creates the apparent Amon Clan, allies it with the Xiao Tribe, and distributes Spirit Worms to make the Xiao Tribe increasingly dependent on his power. 443 444 633
Dou Emperor Ascension
Amon rises through Dou Huang and Dou Sheng, tests Void Devouring Flame with a Ninth-Grade Golden Pill, employs the Celestial Worthy Dharma Body against the Emperor Grade Embryonic Pill, and ascends as a Dou Emperor. 395 661 701 708
Before his full ascension, he survives a Thunder Tribulation and acquires the incomplete but formidable Dou Emperor Remnant Body through Dragon-Phoenix, Bodhi Ancient Tree, and Creation power. 688
Upon becoming Dou Emperor, he acquires Origin Emperor Qi, repairs the Dou Qi Plane’s barrier, and elevates every avatar into a being with Dou Emperor status and extraordinary command of heaven-and-earth energy. 708
Amon Clan Era
In the Great Thousand World, Amon’s name becomes a source of fear among Heavenly Sovereigns and the Outer Evil Clan. His clan’s true nature—whether a race, a network of avatars, or a single distributed entity—remains deliberately obscured. 865 898 926 929
Amon reaches the Heavenly Sovereign level, resolves the conflict between spiritual energy and Demonic Qi, and gains the ability to parasitize the Outer Evil Clan. 809
His conflict with Lin Dong reveals the threat posed by his avatars and distributed existence. While the world questions whether a defeated Amon is his main body, Amon continues to encourage the belief that the Amon Clan can never be only one person. 861 865
Firmament Ranking and Heavenly Evil God Crisis
Amon’s ultimate ambition develops into stealing the Firmament Ranking and transcending the Great Thousand World’s limits. To do so, he systematically surrounds Xiao Yan’s fate with Amon identities and eventually steals that fate for himself. 929 1047 1050
When the Heavenly Evil God threatens the Great Thousand World, Amon temporarily acquiesces to Hun Tiandi’s actions because he considers the greater enemy more urgent. He assists Xiao Yan and Mu Chen in their respective attempts to leave their full names on the Firmament Ranking. 1030 1034
Trivia
- Amon’s first known avatar count was four; after five years, it had reached at least 128 before later accelerations. 160
- He was seventeen years old when he departed Frostleaf City with Yan Jin and Lei Yin. 19
- He uses the reputation that “all that is spoken shall be known” as a deliberate psychological weapon, causing opponents to fear even weak avatars. 880
- His characteristic monocle is sufficiently infamous that Xiao Yan links widespread monocle imagery to Amon before meeting him directly. 370
- Amon deliberately publicized internal Amon conflicts to reinforce the false impression that the Amon Clan is a race rather than one individual’s avatars. 865
- Amon can distinguish public-facing variants of himself through small details, such as whether a monocle is worn over the right eye rather than the left. 270
